My infatuation with Ukrainian Easter eggs did interfere with daily drawing, unless you count drawing on eggs, but I'm back at it now. Just some carnations...

a few objects from the cupboard...

and, of course, a cat.

It's wonderful to see a series of Agnes sketches! I especially like the floral sketches. The close-up one is so well observed and has lots of linear and tonal interest. Thank you for the post on skipping rhymes, too---I remember some of those and hope, like you, that they don't disappear from our culture.

Thank you, Laura and Britt-Arnhild. I'm such a long way from mastery, but it is starting to flow a bit. Van Gogh, in one of his letters to his brother, said that drawing was starting to be as natural and automatic for him as handwriting. I would love to be able to say that some day.

Those are just great. I do so wish I had a talent such as yours. I would also like to be able to sing. God gives us what He wants us to have so I will be content to see the beauty in your drawings and be blessed. connie from Texas I love carnations.
